At Southeast Elite Working Dogs, our program combines purposeful breeding with scenario-based training to prepare K9s for law enforcement, military, and civilian protection.



Our protection dog training programs go beyond basic commands to develop a dog’s that are confident, disciplined, and adaptable in real-world situations. Each dog receives personalized guidance to master obedience, socialization, and advanced skills tailored to its role, whether as a service, protection, or working dog. Handlers also receive coaching to strengthen communication and build a strong partnership.

Board & Train Packages

30-60 Day Training Available

All dogs after board and train packages will be proficient in each discipline. Handlers will also receive a 2 hour class on how to handle and maintain the training their dog has received.

30 Days

Basic Obedience

During this program your dog will become proficient in all commands on leash such as but not limited to sit, stay, down, heel, (walking by your side), come, no “leave it”, and place.


Your dog will enter a structured environment where they will learn to wait and be released patiently for feeding and break times. Dogs will experience multiple socialization techniques such as, but not limited to walks and interactions in public places including stores and heavily populated areas.

45 Days

Advanced Obedience

During this program your dog will become proficient in all commands on and off leash such as but not limited to sit, stay, down, heel, (walking by your side), come, no, “leave it,” and place. Dogs will also have any behavioral issues addressed at this time.


Your dog will enter a structured environment where they will learn to wait and be released patiently for feeding and break times. Dogs will experience multiple socialization techniques such as, but not limited to walks and interactions in public places including stores and heavily populated areas. Dogs will be exposed and proficient in distractions such as other dogs being present, loud noises, surface changes and elevation changes. Those issues may be unique to each dog, so they will be discussed or evaluated between an instructor and the client.

60 Days

Bite Work Intro

During this program your dog will become proficient in all commands on and off leash such as but not limited to sit, stay, down, heel, (walking by your side), come, no “leave it”, and place. Your dog will enter a structured environment where they will learn to wait and be released patiently for feeding and break times.


Dogs will experience multiple socialization techniques such as, but not limited to walks and interactions in public places including stores and heavily populated areas. Dogs will be exposed and proficient in distractions such as other dogs being present, loud noises, surface changes and elevation changes. Dogs will also have any behavioral issues addressed at this time. Those issues may be unique to each dog, so they will be discussed or evaluated between an instructor and the client.


Dogs will learn to alert to a decoy on command and alert to threats on their own. Dogs will also learn to apprehend (bite) and release on command while under handler control. Dogs will also be proficient in “recalling” (false deployments where the K9 exhibits control and does not follow through with a apprehension). All commands can be trained in Dutch or German.

60 Days

Service Dog Package

Your dog will become proficient in all commands on and off the leash. Such as, but not limited too.. sit, stay, down, heel, walking by your side, come, no, “leave it,” and place. They will enter into structured environment, where they will learn to wait and be released patiently for feeding for feeding and break times. They will be proficient in alerting (barking), biting, releasing a bite suit on command, short send outs and handler protection drills for in the event of you are being attacked.


Experiences and exposures will consist of… multiple socialization techniques, such as, but not limited too, walks and interactions in public places, like stories and heavily populated areas. Exposed to distractions, such as, other dogs being present, loud noises, surface changes and elevation changes.


They will have behavioral issues addressed as well. Each dog is unique, so they will be discussed and evaluated between instructor and owner. They will learn to perform a specific task, qualifying them to be registered as a service dog, based off unique needs by you as the owner.


At the completion of the course, a certificate, badge and ID card will be issued and your dog will be certified and registered with the National Service Dog Registry. All necessary equipment to perform their new job will be given as well.

Level One
